Ice fishing season is in full swing once again at Holiday Harbor. Good catches of Northern Pike, crappie, bluegill, sunfish and yellow perch are coming through the ice regularly. Ice conditions are favorable with good ice forming early without a lot of snow cover. For the first time in a few years we were able to fish some hot spots between Christmas and New Years. Vermont state bait regulations continue to restrict the movement of live bait from Lake Champlain to other bodies of water in the effort to prevent the spread of diseases and evasive species. Holiday Harbor stocks live bait that is certified disease-free and super lively from its refrigerated holding tanks. We specialize in ice fishing and provide clean, comfortable rooms, lake access with a road plowed to the best fishing grounds, ice shanty rentals, and plenty of bait and tackle in the shop. Formerly Holiday Harbor Motel, the Lodge offers year round accommodations for a unique Vermont experience.  Rooms are available with housekeeping, (full kitchen) efficiency-style (partial kitchen) and for overnight stays (motel-style)  A boat launch, docks, live bait and tackle shop, fishing guide service, boat/motor, kayak and pedal boat rentals, swimming docks and a fishing pier serve the open lake enthusiasts.  Off the lake, cycling, hiking, touring, birding, shopping, and sightseeing are all popular pastimes.  Burlington and Montreal are each approximately 1 hour away.  In winter, ice fishing supplies, live bait, ice shanty and equipment rentals are available.

Generally, weekly reservations are booked between Memorial Day and Labor Day:  (Sat. to Sat.)    Often there are rooms available at other times.  Please call to inquire about availability.  Check out is 10:00 a.m.  Check in is 2:00p.m.

We are pleased to accommodate large and small groups.  While smoking is permitted on the grounds, all rooms are non smoking rooms.
