On North Hero Island and the shore of beautiful Lake Champlain in North Hero, Vermont.

A year round Vermont country lodge specializing in fishing and other outdoor recreational opportunities.

The end of summer and approaching fall season signals a change in the weather and with it a variety of opportunites on Lake Champlain. For some, it's sailing, boating and paddling without the summer crowds. For others, it's just sitting by the lake with a good book or wandering the back roads and lakeshore to enjoy the clean, crisp air and the beautiful fall colors. And for the fishermen, it's a new season of hungry fish and cooling water conditions. Since the amazing high water in the spring, we have enjoyed a spectacular fishing season with nearly record catches of bass, pike, walleye and a variety of pan fish. Great fishing continues through the fall as the fish begin to feed heavily and store resources for winter. Whether fishing right out in front of Holiday Harbor in the Alburgh Passage,to the east on the Inland Sea or to the west the Broad lake, you're sure to find great fishing and Bruce will be happy to help you locate some prime fishing spots on his lake map. Joanne and Bruce, along with our staff at Holiday Harbor, invite you once again to visit our beautiful North Hero Island and enjoy the peace and serenity that comes with life in the slow lane at Holiday Harbor Lodge. You will find clean and comfortable accommodations, boat launching, dock space with electric on the water and at the room and friendly, helpful folks to assist you. For reservations, please call (802) 372-4077 or email holiday.harbor@yahoo.com.
